PEF is delighted to announce the recent appointment of Prajinta "Jenna" Sthapitanonda-Pesqueda, as director of development, to the Board of Directors of the Pacifica Education Foundation (PEF). Jenna has three grown children and comes with decades of experience as a writer and teacher. You might run into her at Teaever in King Plaza 4-5 times per week (fresh taro and black rice make this the best boba tea in town)!

Pacifica Education Foundation would like to acknowledge John Downing for his 4 years of service as director of development. He spearheaded PEF’s grant-seeking effort, resulting in PEF being awarded multiple grants for program support and operations. Most notable is his successfulness in earning a multi-year grant from the Sam Mazza Foundation to support the PSD’s TK-2 music program. His leadership enabled PEF to expand its capacity and sustain fundraising efforts during and through the pandemic. We are grateful for John’s contributions and amazing ideas! We thank John and wish him well! He will always be a PEF friend.
